I see sme great deals on snail on-lin, but I am trying to fogure out how many snails t go for. Is there a rule of thumb regardign the number of snails you want per gallon of water ? Is 25 new snails too much ? Please keep in mind that most of the ‘rules of thumb’ with respect to how many snails you need per gallon of aquarium volume tend to be over-estimates and many invertebrates starve and die as a result.
