Windows restores the speaker setup to 2.0 on every reboot. Changing it back to 7.1 does not fix any of the above. WebI am not sure about the mic, but to fix the sound try this. This is most likely because you have set your Main Audio device to 24bit. All functions, other than stereo, only work in 16bit.
