Delete all Pictures not flagged as Pick. Go through the pictures again and mark the one not wanted as Rejected. Delete the Rejected. Are you seeing images that where flagged and the flag is not showing up or are the flagged images missing? In the latter case, you have a filter showing only the unflagged pictures.
